Wowwwwwwww! I love the shaylas :)) sf
Assalam alaikum! Just found your blog and it is so interesting! I am a brazilian girl, living in Dubai for almost 3 years, and I always wanted to know how is a girl's life in here. You know, for someone who came from a different part of the world, it is hard to say how is life for a khaleeji girl. Thank you so much for sharing all this! I love it!By the way, do you recomend a good place to buy cheap abayas, in Dubai or Sharjah? I always go to Abu Hail but I don't like the way they treat me, I always pay 3x the normal price for everything!Thank you!
love them all
Thanx Ammanda for your comment and notes,i hope you enjoy this life style that you re in for all these 3 years. its a new and different from yours culture but with a lot of beauty and charm, isnt it?! i just of cause a bit upset for this case that forigners usualy get in this trap with no knowlege how to make bargins(while shopping). by the way i invite you to see one of my post (in a funny way) abt this subject hope u can get some useful tips for yourself and even try 'em out and see how it will work.go to: http://khaleejia.blogspot.com/search/label/freej ,and see last episode. So how to buy anything you want for the normal price (at least double less). i think that you re wearing abaya outside, correct?then u need to learn some phrases in arabic(gulf)and use them if u buy something like abaya.just at least to give them (sellers) appereance that you re not a new one in here.then never say that you like smth so much to be ready for it that price they ask even if you re just keen on that exact thing.keep cool look and always say that price they provide you is very high, finaly when they ask u for your price (if its a private shop) say them your less price your would think abt.and add that u dont have more money or if they say that its impossible just turn them back and slowly approach to the door;) u ll see what they will just do to not let their client go. this is normal procedure even for arabs. abt place where u can find a good quality abaya not very expensive i can advice u a lot of places but i think that sharjah souk (abu khureira road)is the optimal one. i hope u 've visited it before just follow the right side till you meet rather wide shop with abayat the designers their have really nice up to date taste thats why may be usually there is a bit croweded.the prices 300dh is average but u can find 150dh if there is sale or something and good for u usually the price there is fixed. good luck in shopping!
Mashallah very cute!!1
