habibti OUM ALi -how I cook

Khaleejia said: My family tastes always bring me to my grand mom receipts! I don't know what happened these last days with them but istuck in the kitching by their demand to cook Oum Ali ..DAiLY!! p.s.this is hot sweet meal so may be because  of "winter" is coming?! Anyway yesterday i decided to share this matbah part of my private life as it's still khaleejia's life blog. I wasn't planning to write any cooking book on this thing so as photos, thats why the pics are not from the very beginning of the process.

1.I take a cup of flour, add a little water to the dough  it should become as for the pasta.
then roll out so that the dough sheet thickness was 3-2 millimeters.2.I put this dough sheet on the baking sheet and put in the oven until it browns.3.at the same time start making cream-from pint of milk& half cup of sugar and a pinch or less of vanilla sugar. put on the fire and stir until sugar  dissolved and milk got hot.the secret of success, to taste!. the cake must be absolutely fresh and the milk is very sweet.
4. when the cake become ready  grind it and put in Clay pot
5.pour over the hot sweet milk. (the quantity of  milk should be more because then the cake  swell and oum ali will become too thick and it should not be.)Last step is to
6.put the pot filled with halawa in the oven for 7-10 minutes 180 degrees. It should be lightly browned on top.and served hot. eat with a spoon))bon appetite!
